About Us
Ride of Freedom aims to support various charities in bringing about awareness and raising much needed funds to help in the fight of those living with hardship, homelessness, domestic abuse, substance abuse, parents in need, children in need and the list goes on!
Our Story
At Ride of Freedom, we dedicated ourselves to supporting communities and raising awareness about the well-being of humanity within our communities.
We organise community workshops for young people to help them become motivated. We fundraise for the essential funds needed to combat the challenges young people face experiencing hardships, such as homelessness, domestic abuse, substance abuse, unaddressed traumas, non-communicative communication, relationship difficulties, marriage difficulties, single-parent struggles, and parent and child relations.

Ride of Freedom: Free Your Mind was founded by Narran Mclean, who began her journey of awakening on two wheels in 2010, travelling to and from her place of work, which was performing the leading Lady role as Nala, in London's West End musical The Lion King.

This period of Narrans life was extremely challenging; not only had she been performing in the job of her dreams, but at this time, she also had to relive a period of her life to get the justice she deserved.
In 2011, an opportunity arose for Narran to bring a man to justice for his crimes against her as an 18-year-old man whilst she was a three-year-old child. Narran won her court case against this particular man, who was one of four men who sexually abused her as a minor.

At the age of 15, due to becoming an emotionally disturbed and unstable teenager, Narran was told to leave the home she shared with her family. Narran approached a hostel at this time, but they explained she was too young for them to accept, so she spent a year floating around homeless, from place to place, dealing with lots of rejection and feelings of worthlessness.

Narran and her business partner Rebecca King consider life a journey, which is all about the Ride to Freedom, hence the Ride of Freedom to Free Your Mind from debilitating hardships.
At Ride of Freedom, we believe in the power of love, patience, empathy, compassion, understanding, forgiveness and providing a safe space for vulnerability to unite us in a world that needs rejuvenation to achieve peace of mind.

Ride of Freedom believes we are not one without the other, and many of us can be there for each other somehow. We can all agree the hardships of life reveal the importance of freeing ourselves from negative mind and body conditions.

Often, our way out of a challenging situation is to receive help from those in the best positions to help. Rebecca King of Ride of Freedom knows only too well the importance of bodily well-being for achieving success; using her many years of experience with holistic therapy, she brings to Ride of Freedom the essence of freeing the body to free the mind.

Being born in the Manila, Philippines during the 1970's. I have grown up seeing poverty in my daily life. I have seen how it can make children lose self-esteem and give up pursuing their dream to earn a living at a very early age.
Living in poverty, I have seen how some people descent into drug addiction and crime. And how some people rise up to become stronger persons, becoming more loving and selfless. And have determination to strive to uplift their family from poverty. The difference between those who descend and those who rise up is the love that they felt in childhood and having a person who believed in them and gave them a chance.

I am one of those people who was given a chance. I was able to complete my university education out of the goodness of people who believed in me and who showed love and generosity during those dark early days.

I want to give back now. To show generosity and love to people. To believe in people that they can rise up becauase all they need is a helping hand.

Ride of Freedom is one way for me to give back.
