Our Story

Hello and welcome to Ride of Freedom!

I hope this finds you well and in the very best of mental health.

Thank you for visiting our page today!

When most motorcyclists are asked the question what they love most about riding their motorbike, they will tell you it’s the sense of freedom that it gives them.

Ride of Freedom has been created because every rider knows the freedom they get from putting that key in the ignition and hitting the open road.

One element of Ride of Freedom is being able to escape the reality of a moment that may be causing the mind stress or simply escaping what’s been a perpetual traumatic period in life.

It’s really all about the peace of mind we get when riding a motorcycle and is why Ride of Freedom has been created. We create packaged, tailored motorcycle trips around the UK, Europe and beyond. Just imagine taking a summer holiday and riding in convoy to a location where there's hot sun rays beating against your skin and the feeling of sinking sand beneath your feet.

Ride of Freedom aims to support various charities in bringing about awareness and raising much needed funds to help in the fight of those living with hardship, homelessness, domestic abuse, substance abuse, parents in need, children in need and the list goes on!

One hardship I faced, along with many people in this world, was becoming homeless at the age of 16. I was alone and it was a very scary time of my life. I had neither preparation nor life experience to help me face becoming homeless. I felt unloved, confused and believed I wasn’t worthy of living the life I’d been given. This very quickly turned into hate and uncontrollable anger. My childhood traumas and lack of coming to terms with them, did not support my maintaining good mental health and this affected every area of my life.

Being in a good place of mental health, clarity and understanding of the many difficulties we face in life, can lead us to becoming stronger more powerful beings. This proves that all life experiences can teach and prepare us for future struggles we may face on the road ahead.

If we look back at our lives, most of us can find at least one person we can be grateful for, even if it’s that person who gave us a smile on the train or that someone who showed up to support us when we needed it most. In my younger years I experienced the help of charitable love from those who chose to support charities financially. The charity was then able to put money raised into helping me at my time of need. Without people who have the heart to donate to charities, we would not be in a position to help those most in need.

Let us do our best to help those in need and support this world in thriving at its best.

Every rider that joins a Ride of Freedom charity ride, helps to support a person in need.

We thank you in advance for your help and support.

We welcome you to our family and look forward to seeing you on the next ride!

Ride safe until then.

Being born in the Manila, Philippines during the 1970's.  I have grown up seeing poverty in my daily life.  I have seen how it can make children lose self-esteem and give up pursuing their dream to earn a living at a very early age.

Living in poverty, I have seen how some people descent into drug addiction and crime.  And how some people rise up to become stronger persons, becoming more loving and selfless.  And have determination to strive to uplift their family from poverty.  The difference between those who descend and those who rise up is the love that they felt in childhood and having a person who believed in them and gave them a chance.

I am one of those people who was given a chance.  I was able to complete my university education out of the goodness of people who believed in me and who showed love and generosity during those dark early days.

I want to give back now.  To show generosity and love to people.  To believe in people that they can rise up becauase all they need is a helping hand.

Ride of Freedom is one way for me to give back.
